Using Wood that I Harvested for Project

There is nothing quite as satisfying as using lumber for a project that I milled myself from a local source. Below you will see a video of me making a coffee table using a cookie from the California Valley Oak Tree that I milled up in Los Olivos last year. The piece would be considered unusable by some folk, but I am not some folk and I figured out a way to use it. Regardless of how cracked and warped the piece was, I utilized black epoxy resin and the finished result is pretty awesome. Check it out below. I also learned a few very important lessons during this project and I share in the video. Let me know what you think.
